Backpack Project
It all began with foster mom creating an event to help foster children while teaching children the importance of volunteerism. We hold our Annual Backpack Project every year at the end of July. Contact us to receive updates on the event
Pop-up Learning Center
Our Pop-Up Learning Center will touch on the pillars of Language Arts, Health and Fitness, STEAM, and Growth Mindset. We are currently working with community leaders to identify locations around the Lafayette area to host 1-hour Pop-Up activity classes for elementary age children.
the Learning Fence
During the pandemic, you may have noticed a few of the “Learning Fences” around town. The Learning Fence is a way for children to get out and learn in their own community.
Emergency Snack Kits
These “Snack Kits” are for some of our most needy elementary schools in Lafayette parish. Some of our children are missing breakfast at school because they show up late. These Mable’s Table Emergency Snack Kits help the give them a little to eat to hold them over until lunch. They are also used to send home in the afternoon for them to have at home.
